Shadowing Day is an opportunity for area businesses and organizations to welcome Philadelphia students into their workplace for a one-day career exploration or a one-day industry specific experience. The program, which is an integral component of WorkReady Philadelphia, provides 9th and 10th grade high school students with first-hand exposure to the working world and an understanding of how school is connected to career success.
Shadowing Day 2010 Dates:
Career Exposure Day – Tuesday, February 2nd
A general exposure day for 9th grade students
Healthcare Industry Day – Wednesday, February 17th
An industry specific day for 10th graders currently pursuing a Healthcare academic track
Hospitality Industry Day – Wednesday, March 3rd
An industry specific day for 10th graders currently pursuing a Hospitality academic track
