Summer 2009 Youth Applications

The WorkReady Philadelphia Summer 2009 application request process is now closed.

If you submitted a completed application through the mail, please allow ten business days for the application to be processed. Applications submitted prior to the June 12th postmark deadline will continue to be processed in the order they were received during the week of June 15th with a limited number of enrollment appointments to be scheduled the weeks of June 15th and June 22nd. Youth who have submitted an application will be notified of either an enrollment appointment or that opportunities for the summer have been filled.

The WorkReady program receives over 11,000 applications each year for approximately 8,000 employment opportunities. Unfortunately, the requests always exceed the number of job opportunities available. Therefore, we cannot guarantee placement at the time of application and will keep all applications on file, in the event that an opportunity comes up. Youth who have completed the enrollment process will be notified no later than July 12th that an opportunity is either available or not available for this summer.
